Madame Tussauds & Images of Singapore
As the boy had a free corporate ticket to Madame Tussauds Singapore and Images of Singapore, we decided to head to Sentosa for the trip to use the ticket. I bought a ticket upon entrance only to find out that the boat ride (free according to them) was under maintenance. Zzzzzz :XWe went to the Images of Singapore first because the officer at the reception area informed us that the show was starting.
To be honest, I had never been to the old Images of Singapore and this was the first time I stepped into Images of Singapore with changes/addition to the scenes. Personally, I think it was a waste of time to visit the Images of Singapore because I found the entire exhibition really lame and ridiculous with real actors attempting to inject humour but there was no laughter from the crowd. While I shall not comment too much and in details how I really feel about Images of Singapore, I would suggest you to skip this as it was not worth it and waste of time as we were stuck throughout the exhibition for close to 45 minutes unable to turn back and had to rely on actors to pick us up for the next scene.
After the draggy time at Images of Singapore (no photos allowed), we proceeded to Madame Tussauds. Some photos taken at Madame Tussauds:
As you could see, we did enjoy ourselves more at the Madame Tussauds Singapore. Compared to the Madame Tussauds at Hong Kong however, we felt that the wax figurines were more life like compared to the ones at Singapore which looked plastic-ky. Madame Tussauds at Singapore however, had more interactive components such as garland, hat, sunglasses, wigs etc which one could wore to take a photo with the figurines. It is worth a visit only if you have time to spare or else you can perhaps just visit the larger museums in Sydney or Hong Kong.
Nevertheless, we did enjoy ourselves at Madame Tussauds after a very disappointing visit at Images of Singapore.
